As for the “blue moon”, it’s a term that’s used to describe the second full moon in a calendar month. This will occur in August in 2023.
While the first full moon in a calendar month is a humdinger, the last is a more significant supermoon. And, it’s likely to be the brightest one of the year.
When it comes to eclipses, you’ll have a chance to witness a partial lunar eclipse in October. Additionally, you can see a partial solar eclipse in April. You’ll also be able to catch the Geminid meteor shower in December.
During the course of a year, the Moon takes about 27 days to circle the earth. Its orbit is elliptical. But, it can take two cycles of full and new moons to complete this process.
The full moon in January of 2023 will not be the brightest and most impressive, but it’ll be a mighty fine time to catch one!

The Orion Nebula is an enormous cloud of dust and gas that is located in the constellation of Orion. It is one of the most studied celestial objects in the night sky. There are thousands of stars in this nebula at different stages of formation. Some of the brightest stars are thought to be 10,000 years old.
Stars are born in clouds of dust and gas. These clouds are formed when angular momentum transfers during star formation. This angular momentum causes the material to spin. In some cases, planets form from these clouds.
The Orion nebula is surrounded by a large ring of dust. The ring is about 330 light-years in diameter. If you could see this ring, it would look like a 27-times wider full moon.
